The Consequence

_____________________________________________

They try to threaten our existence

With fire and intimidation

To threaten our way of life, but I will not live in fear

If t’s war you want, then war you will receive

My vow to destroy mine enemies, shall breed your last breath

There is no book, there is no god to beg

To spare you from the consequences

The Answer

Warning: The Following poem is very, very long and contains inside jokes you’re sure not to get.  Read at your own risk.  It’s an acrostic of a sentence in and of itself, and will probably bore you at certain points.  You’ve been warned.

Never a cloud routing light from the waters shining beneath

Impervious is the golden glow of the light aloft

Cold submits to ardent brisk in the steady reflections glistening

On this night turned day, I feel her presence whisking steadily

Leaving not a single “toaster leavin'” of doubt or dissent

Embers singing from a fire or some unseen sensor

Afflictions made weary in this light she emits

Malice defiled bleeding where malevolence lies pleading

Burning life effigy, my distinct attrition wanes

Under bridges where I once nearly flew as murder

Reaching my hands to the sky asking for just one sign

Endlessly my cries haunting the night’s sky

Yet no answer was given until her voice touched my ears

She Sings Out to the Waters

She sings out to the waters; the tides; the air aloft the glistening waves

Every fractal; every reflection; every beast in water or grave

Listens, she, to the air’s faint whispers; the voices of shadows; laments forgave

Forged aside a soon-setting sun, every pro in the earth engraved

….

Intoxicated by the twilight, by the sky soon silver-laved

Sauntering past the incoming tides she speaks to those, by the soil enslaved

Forgettable

___________________________________________

Perpetual waste to the fabric of the known universe

Every breath you take is a lost insufflation.

Remember me not, for your life is a mere fairy tale that is insulting to history’s musings.

Forget my touch, as I continue to wash your disease from my hands.

Understand me.  I say nothing in jest.

May our eyes never meet again.  May your voice never rape my ears.

Elate me never, as your laughter brings a disgust immune to purging.

Say nothing of me, sing nothing of me, play nothing of me on your viral keys of ivory.

Take my memory and let it whither as a dying shrub in perpetual night.

Euthanize our common thoughts, as mine could never come from a place so dark; so empty.

Never did we touch; never did we taste one another’s breath.

Cure me of this haunting neurosis that I call our past.

Hate me forever, for it brings more joy to me than your love and desire ever could.

In Her Surrender

__________________________________________

Nocturnity beneath a shimmering, silvered moon, I walk amid a lifting wisp

In this necropolis where the curse of Sol did so timidly dim

Casting dispersion upon the western sky; Luna’s children arc to their goddess

Over the cold Autumn soil I saunter, staring aloft to such celestial majesty

Lowly, a voice carries through the dusking air, which ignites me in such carnality

Embers dim where her silhouette  arises, a form of despite where my eyes are frozen.
