Voices in the Dark

_______________________________

I awake this night with no one next me.

Another took your heart, without a care, you let me bleed.

All I feel is pain, and the dark that lurks behind.

All I feel is them telling me to take my life.

Voices in the dark.

Voices in the dark.

I still smell your scent upon my bed,

Where I once held you tight.

The place where we made love, our bodies as one,

In the sacred light.

Take just one last trip, to his bed where you lay.

Take just one last look, into your eyes to say goodbye.

Voices in the dark.

I look to the moon, on this lycanthropic night.

I fall with my face to the sky, to see the stars before I die.

Voices in the dark.

Black Kisses

_______________________________________

Your body so cold, sweat by the fire

I have no memories with you, only desire

Our wet bodies swarm next to each other

Beautiful demon, there could be no other

You’re the force behind my sin

You’re the black buried deeply within

When we make love, my life begins

My fantasies hold only you within

Poisoned

____________________________________

A shattered mirror upon the floor

Spiders creeping on my door

On my leg a bitten sore

From the snakes upon my floor

Fire ants swarming on my bed

Sheets of white now stained of red

The only thing in side my head

Is that soon I’ll likely be dead

I feel poison in my veins

Feel my parasite-laden brain

I can feel nothing but pain

Seeing my blood fall like torrent rain

My skin shriveled, falling onto the floor

Blood against carpet like water to shore

This insanity screams more, more!

It’s only death and nothing more.

Power

_________________________________

Aggression, our only link to our past

Those who will smite history, severed and smashed

The death of compassion at the birthing of power

Who shall inherit the earth, shall refuse in the end

This species was not meant to encounter

The grip of technology, flourishing power

Creating a species of frivolous cowards

Yet they all will regress to their knees on the hour

A Raven: X

____________________________________________

The temptress has once again tried to fool me.

I make it a rule not to trust the living.

Is she living?  Truly my sworn enemy?

The foolish magician has once again attempted to cast her sadistic spell upon me.

A Raven

_____________________________________________

Deemed a martyr for wickedry, I walk this desolate planet as a shadow, void of light.

Concealed by a cage of holy water; consumed by stereotype.

As a demon consumes and unborn child’s heart.

As a dark cloud dampening the sun, I seek revenge.

Burning with sadistic desires, I am charred.

I have been dealt the cards with a hand of four kings.

While the council of death decides my next move.

I refuse to be controlled.

A Madonna of Mourning Night

_________________________________________

I’ve flung through stars on a raven’s kiss

Where once stood such a monolith

A madonna bore soiled limbs

At the root of capacious hymns

I’ve seen the moon shed a crimson light

Where once adorned ‘neath a silvered plight

A madonna of mourning night

Casts dispersions with ivory bite

On his knees rests the seraphim

His servant eyes worshiping her limbs

A tapestry growing ever dim

Chastity turned to ebon nymph.

Expelled

____________________________________________________________

In presumed precedence, upon Ninmah’s existence, we heed.

Exalted breath foretell, from candles wick we bleed.

Ereshkigal of ancient Sumer drown forsaken in Abzu.

Abyss sucking, draining o’er tailored ground, renew.

A Moldavian priest stands upon Puripeak.

Looking down upon banshees, yearning feast.

Frightened is the hermit coming upon the rocky cliff, falling.

Banshees swarm as water splashes, transparent turns to crimson.
